

PERFORMANCE PROGRAM
This program is for dancers who wish to pursue their dance training at a
more intense level – the primary goal is to better yourself as a dancer.
This program is not to be used for its’ numerous festivals and solo
opportunities – you should register in this program because you love to
dance and want to improve yourself in all aspects of each discipline! All
dancers must meet the following criteria: (Please note that dancers are
placed upon teacher’s discretion.)
Ballet classes twice per week.
Modern class once per week for intermediate level and up.
Jazz technique classes (stretch, turns & jumps) twice per week. Ballet & Jazz technique classes are scheduled according to age and level.
Workshop Series - different disciplines each month presented in a workshop format. Classes are taught by guest instructors.
Optional classes include: Variety, Musical Theatre, Tap, Lyrical and Hip Hop
Attendance is very important - especially in the technique classes. Numerous absences will not be tolerated and will result in a transfer out of this program.
Dancers will be expected to attend 4 - 5 festivals in the spring as well as local performances.
One extra large group is mandatory for all levels.
STARS PROGRAM
This program is geared for dancers who wish to commit to a full year of
dance just for fun! There are no set classes to take, although we strongly
recommend ballet, especially for dancers aged 7 years and up! The following
is the criteria for the Stars Program:
Dancers in this program will
receive the same quality of instruction as those in the Performance Program,
just at not such an intense level – the major difference will be the rate of
progress. This is an excellent program for those students who are just
starting out in the art of dance!
JUST FOR FUN
This program will be offered in one 8 week session beginning in September.
Classes include:
An excellent program for dancers who want to see what the fun is all about! Eight weeks for $80.00 plus GST – no refunds.
These classes are structured to introduce singing, dancing and creative movement. Through these exercises we encourage the children to use their own imaginations and creativity. These programs run the full dance season (Sept/08 – May/09). The children will learn a routine to perform at the Christmas Show as well as a spring routine to perform at the year end recital. Simple costumes are required for these events.
